Do you do the drywall project yourself, or do you leave it to the professionals? That's s big question and one you should consider carefully. A small job - patching or installing part of a wall, for example - is not going to be a problem for someone who is very good, handy, has the time and maybe even has some drywalling experience. Several walls, a complete room, or more is a very big job and WILL need a fast and efficient professional to get the work do right.

Second, you need to consider the value of your time. A professional drywall company can cost you anywhere from $60 to $100 per hour, per person in the crew, to complete a sheetrock project. This is a lot of money and I guarantee that my prices are very affordable. But where it might take them 1 day to complete the work, it could take you a week but take me just a couple days.
